The terms that apply to our services and this website.
Estimates
Estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days. Estimates are based on the condition observed at inspection; if hidden faults are found, we will contact you before proceeding with additional work.
Authorisation and payment
Work begins once you approve the written estimate. Payment is due on collection or delivery unless other arrangements are agreed in writing.
Warranty
Our workmanship and the components we install are warranted against defects for 12 months from completion under normal residential use. The warranty does not cover misuse, over-wattage bulbs, damage in transit or subsequent modification by others.
Antique and fragile items
Antique lamps carry inherent risk. We use conservative methods, but glass, ceramic and aged metal can fail during disassembly. We will always discuss risk before starting work on delicate pieces.
Uncollected items
Items not collected within 90 days of completion notice may be sold or disposed of to recover costs.
